Review: "God's Promises for Girls"

God's Promises for Girls by Jack Countryman & Amy Parker is an adorable hardback, gift-type book that little girls are sure to love and parents (like me!) are sure to find useful. My 4-year-old daughter loved this book the instant she laid eyes on it. The book is broken into seven sections/subjects with many different sub-topics. Each of the sub-topics (for example, "Being a Better Friend") contains a short poem and two pages of pertinent Bible verses. The book is beautifully illustrated and my daughter loves "reading" the pages and looking at the pictures. As a parent, I love using teachable moments in my daughter's day to flip to the appropriate subject and teaching her to apply these verses to her life in a tangible way. I highly recommend this book as a gift for a little girl in your life!
